An additional layer of protection will be added to MSU's Enterprise Business Systems March 16 to April 13, 2015. Once completed, all MSU employees will need a 6-digit code in addition to their MSU NetID and password to log in to EBS. All MSU employees are asked to register two or more credentials (e.g., office phone, mobile app) with the two-factor system now through April 12, 2015.

Two-factor authentication will be activated on a rolling basis beginning with employees who access it frequently (e.g., central office, IT, and security contacts) on March 16, 2015, and concluding with roles requiring less EBS usage (employees with access limited to ESS, employee self-service) on April 13, 2015.

Visit secureit.msu.edu/two-factor for complete information including instructions on registering credentials and the activation schedule.

Please review the link to new crime alerts regarding an attempted theft of employee direct deposit payroll earnings. MSU Police are asking anyone who suspects that their banking information has been compromised to call 517-355-2222. Questions related to phishing or MSU NetIDs may be directed to the IT Services Support Desk at (517) 432-6200.

Due to investigation of recent attempted theft of direct deposit, we are temporarily removing the ability for employees to view and update their direct deposit information and reprint their 2013 W-2. If you need to change your direct deposit information or reprint your W-2, please call Payroll Operations at (517) 355-5010 or email payroll@ctlr.msu.edu.

To access the EBS Portal and systems, click the EBS Login tab then enter your MSU NetID and password.
